1992 On November 9, 1992, 100,000 people gathered at Chlodwigplatz in Cologne. Artists of the Cologne music scene had to a concert “against racism and neo-Nazis” Called.

2004 Construction work begins for the North-South tramway. Due to the construction measures, the church tower St. Johann-Baptist is inclined by more than 70 cm (“Shale Tower of Cologne”), but can be erected again.

2009 The Historical Archive collapses due to the subway constructionTwo people died in the disaster.

2010 The newly designed Severinstraße is inaugurated. Ten years after the start of construction work on the North-South tramway, the road work on Severinstraße is completed. The result is a pioneering road beyond the borders of Cologne:

The building gap of the city archive is not yet closed again, the historical archive of the city of Cologne is being rebuilt elsewhere.

2017 The Severinviertel joins to a Real estate and location community together to develop the neighbourhood together. This app is one of the measures of the new community in cooperation with the IG SeverinsviertelThe merchant community in the neighborhood.
